Early African American Cloth Doll

$225.00

From the collection of Linda Gae Ward, a historian and storyteller from Virginia, we offer a wonderful, African American handmade cloth doll. This utterly charming, early cloth doll was crafted with great care and detail. He is made of satin finish cotton, fine yarn hair and a hand stitched face that has been well loved through the years. He wears a button together outfit of short chambray pants and a calico shirt. This little fellow presents normal age related wear and a fabulous, aged patina. He displays wonderfully and exudes a well-loved charm.
Measures: 9” tall.
