This Victorian China Figural Trinket Box portrays a fine couple walking with the train of the lady’s skirt held up by a charming page. The tiny faces of all three figures feature blushed cheeks, painted features and black hair. Their molded and painted clothes are rendered in vivid colors and reflect the charming style of a fairy tale. Note also, areas of luster and gilding.
The white base of the box features ornate molding and some painted detail.
