Victorian China Fairing - Fishmonger

This Victorian china fairing that depicts a fishmonger at her stall is not only wonderfully detailed, but also beautifully painted. She has a nicey detailed face and wears layers of skirts, red shoes, a lavender bodice and bonnet, and stands with a shucking knife in her hand behind a trestle table laden with lobsters, fish and oysters. To her side is a basket (roughness to top edge of sign) with a sign that reads “Oysters!” The front of the base reads, “Oysters, Sir?” Measures 4 1/4” tall x 3 1/4“ wide x 2 1/8“ deep
