Suitable for wear by your early chinas, later woodens (circa 1810) and papier-maches, is a simply lovely empire-waist Dress in sturdy cotton. Gathering and pleating adds texture to this straightforward dress, while a bit of lace decorates the cuffs and ample neckline. In good condition, save for two spots on the front (we have not attempted to remove them) and suitable for wear by a doll who stands approximately 17” in height.
