Moritz Gottschalk Mansion, circa 1922
Moritz Gottschalk Mansion, circa 1922
Opportunities to acquire an impressive Moritz Gottschalk Mansion such as this are limited. This magnificent red-roof model was on display at the Angels Attic Museum in Santa Monica, California, for decades, as it was the personal property of one of the museum’s founders. Circa 1922, features include a three-story interior with open rooms, complete with a spectacular double height parlor that showcases an amazing staircase and landing. There are ten rooms in total to furnish! The hinged doors that are fitted with plexiglass panels are not original, but we have left them in place as they do help keep the interiors clean. The red paint upon the roof has been refreshed.
