5 1/2” German all bisque toddler that we attribute to J. D. Kestner, details include a perfect bisque head with blue glass sleep-eyes, an open mouth with two upper square teeth and her original light brown mohair wig in a cute bob. The five-piece body remains in good condition overall, and is complete with a paper label on the back of the torso that reads “Made in Germany.” However there is a large chip on the neck opening on the back side of the torso.
She wears a darling sailor style ensemble, complete with a cute cap, but it is a contemporary piece.
