A handsome French furniture piece from the Collet firm is exemplified by this classic Bibliothèque. This charming bookcase with its lovely dark-stained finish features fine turning to the feet, raised panels, and green faille "silk" paper behind gilded metal screens that flank the single glazed door.
The interior features two rows of faux leather books (of carton, wood and marbled paper) in a variety of colors - each
part of the "Bibliotheque Enfantine" series.
Well-suited for your larger fashion dolls, and medium-sized bebes, the condition is good, showing scattered worming, with the original finish showing normal patina and light wear.

Classic Continental Breakfast or Center Table of mahogany, featuring an inlaid specimen wood top that tilts. With a glowing finish and a marvelous patina, it appears that the table may have been refinished some time ago, but it is otherwise in excellent condition and suitable for fashion dolls that stand approximately 19-20" in height. Circa 1840-60.
