Dating to the late eighteenth, if not early nineteenth century, is an elegant country French Secretaire Abbatant, or drop-front secretary, featuring classic Louis XVI lines. Constructed of hardwood with inlay and veneers, mahogany appears to be the primary wood utilized.
This charmer features simple lines, but that is where the simplicity ends. The secretaire's interior features a lower area for books, or other items, plus four small drawers and a cubby that it is hidden behind a door, while the writing surface was treated with burlap that has been painted.
In very good condition overall, just imagine this secretaire set up with an ormolu inkwell, a letter rack and other fine writing accessories.

For your French fashions, or early woodens, who wish to travel in style, we're pleased to offer a fantastic Chaise à Porteur, or Sedan Chair. This one, of French origins, is of gilded wood and features painted decoration in the form of floral garlands, plus putti in scenes upon the sides and door. The door opens with the simple turn of a latch, revealing an interior lined in red silk velvet, and glass windows (with silk draperies) which allow the passenger to watch the world go by. It is complete with the original, graceful, non-removable carrying handles.
Now, all you need are the attendant Moors and you're set.
In very good condition overall, and perfect for display with 14-16" tall dolls.

Exquisite German Cooking Range of natural and painted sheet steel and tin, with stamped brass ornamentation, this is quite the handsome piece from the Marklin Company (complete with Marklin insignia).
Included is the original set of nickel-plated tin, double-handled cookware that is complete with lids. The handsome flue is original as well. Display this remarkable piece with your German characters or French bebes, or use it to decorate in your own kitchen.

Reminiscent of the French cafe furniture of today, we are pleased to offer a two-piece set that dates circa 1890-1900. Comprised of a matching round table and arm chair in black painted bent reed, the seat and table top are of stamped and printed paper that emulates woven cane. The set will arrive with the pillow, napkin, table cover and pressed glass tumbler shown here.
The condition is very good overall, save for some staining to the top of the table.

Featuring a marvelous shape, and a magnificent patina that leads us to believe this petite continental Chest of four drawers dates from the mid-nineteenth century, it also features whimsical chinoiserie accents. Add in a palette of Chinese red, black with gold accents, and you have a combination that is dramatic and pleasing to the eye. One can confidently display this piece with early dolls to great effect.
The overall condition here is very good.

Tres elegant, diminutive, nineteenth-century French tall Chest of three-drawers, featuring marquetry inlay of exotic woods on the drawer fronts and sides, a shaped apron and lovely cabriolet legs.
With a beautiful marble top and fine ormolu mounts, this piece will be wonderful accessory for your larger bebes and fashion ladies, or use for elegant storage in your doll room...what could be more perfect?

This exceedingly handsome Queen-style Highboy can do nothing but beautifully enhance the vignettes that contain your early doll examples such as woodens, waxes and papier-maches. Featuring paint in rich ox blood, (the color may appear brighter here than actual due to lighting) the finish remains in good condition, while each of the drawer's bail handles are intact.
The overall condition is good, although the piece, circa mid-twentieth century, is showing clean re-glues to both back legs, and scattered normal wear.

A delightful faux bamboo doll’s toilette table, circa 1900, this example has an adjustable mirror and two side towel bars. A charming Chinoiserie toile pattern covers the top.

French, gilded white metal Jewel Casket, in the shape of a round Sewing Table, with a cast rosette upon its top. This elegant piece features Louis XVI lines and access to the tufted, ice-blue, silk interior (partial loss to lining) through the hinged lid.
A wonderful piece to use with French all-bisque dolls or very petite bebes.

Featuring colorful paint and patina is a French papier-mache Ball Toss in the form of a big-mouthed Gendarme. Details include molded and painted features, including blushed cheeks, a prominent nose (which took its share of the onslaught) and a brimmed cap.
