Although its original purpose may have been for use as a jewelry box, now this Italian painted Bombé Commode, with its Venetian sensibilities, will be a marvelous addition to any doll room or vignette.
Incorporating graceful lines, and delicate painting in the neoclassic taste, the palette, patina and style are very appealing. The three beautifully shaped drawers are lined in golden moire, and that soft addition will help keep your dolls' most valuable treasures secure.

Possibly of fairly recent manufacture, is a marvelous Armchair in the Chippendale taste. Of beautifully carved mahogany, the details are remarkable, and the silk brocade upon the drop-in seat, luxurious.

Exhibiting extremely fine quality like those desirable furniture pieces retailed at Paris' Maison Giroux, is a French, miniature, late nineteenth-century mirrored door Armoire - but alas, with no Giroux paper label visible.
This is just a marvelous piece that utilizes a hardwood case which is extensively decorated with rich veneers in a parquetry pattern, plus finely cast ormolu mounts found overall.
The lovely door, with its shaped mirror, opens easily to reveal a finished interior that contains two shelves, while a single drawer can be found below.
An elegant piece, in beautiful condition, that cannot help but elevate your fashion doll salon or boudoir to a whole new level of excellence. Suitable for use with dolls who stand up to 17" in height.

Exhibiting fine workmanship for its inlay and overall design, is a miniature Tallcase Clock that dates circa 1890-1910. The case, created from what appears to be English oak, features inlay of vari-stained woods. The clockworks (Ansonia Clock Co., New York) are currently inoperable, but originally could have been wound from the back. The clock face (showing crazing) is mounted in a brass bezel that also secures a round beveled glass cover.
The piece remains in good condition overall, and is perfect for use in a doll scene, or for display in a large-scale dollhouse.

Perfect is scale for your 14-17" fashions, is a French Sideboard in rich rosewood veneer. Featuring a serving surface, with two shelves above for glassware and dinnerware, there are also two glazed doors below. The quality of this piece is quite nice - a step above mere doll furniture. The condition here is good - it retains the original finish, however there is a repair to he lower pin area of one of the doors, and a bit of loss to on one side.
The porcelain pieces, and candlesticks shown here are not included in the list price, but can be purchased separately.

A lovely, French Table de Nuit, or Bedside Cabinet, is an essential piece to be sure - in fact, we have offered matching pieces from this identical furniture style in the past. Constructed from a secondary wood that has been given a dark stain to emulate ebony or streaky rosewood, there are inlaid bands that provide lovely contrast. Handsome brass pulls, and a carrara marble top complete the details. In good condition overall, and suitable for use by a fashion doll who stands approximately 16-18" in height.

Exquisite, ebonized, bent-reed French Chair featuring a very unusual needlework covering with pink silk backing. In exceptional condition and possessing fine detail, this sweet piece would be suitable in a large scale dollhouse or in a vignette with small bebes even large all bisques would be comfortable. Circa 1880s.

Original works of art add a lot to fashion dolls scenes, so we're delighted to offer a floral still life that is not only hand painted, but also beautifully housed behind convex glass and placed in a lovely wooden frame.
In good condition overall - showing a bit of moisture on upper edge and a split on left.

Lovely French faux bamboo Linen Cabinet complete with linens and toilette accessories as shown. Housed inside the printed cotton-lined interior is a selection of stacked and tied "towels" - plus a white china pitcher and basin. The drawer contains a celluloid brush, mirror and hand towel.
Circa 1880-1900 and in good condition overall, showing evidence of scattered worming that is found on most imported French faux bamboo.

We LOVE to find things in their original boxes, in this case a service for three (quite unusual) that includes napkins in rings, and silverware - all in stamped metal.
Still housed in the original factory packaging, the lid features an image of a child enjoying her tea, plus "Dinner-set" in two additional languages - German and French.
Featuring a "Made in Germany" stamp the set is in very good condition overall.
