First off, we have NEVER seen a Venetian glass Mirror in this miniature size - it is quite the amazing piece to be sure. Featuring clear and lavender glass components, along with hazy mirror glass, the condition here is remarkable, as this is an extremely fragile piece. We see only two very minor losses to leaf points - otherwise it is entirely intact.
Suitable for display in a fashion doll scene, or in a large scale dollhouse, this piece is a treasure.

One of those bizarre 19th-century whimsies that one has to see to believe, is exemplified by this French Sewing Etui that makes its home in a hinged walnut shell! Nestled inside silver metal fitted interior is a needle case, a miniature ribbon threader, an awl, a thimble, and a card fitted with various threads.

The stand features hand-painted floral and gilded decoration, and two gilt-decorated containers - one for ink and one for sand.
